Terms and Conditions
  1. I acknowledge that I will comply with any reasonable direction of the officials and staff of the Club in relation to:
    • entry to exit from the gym
    • the use of the facilities and equipment in the gym; and
    • my behaviour and conduct whilst on the premises.
  2. I acknowledge that I have sole responsibility for my personal possessions and athletic equipment whilst at the gym or during its related activities.
  3. I consent to receive medical treatment which may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident and/or illness whilst on the premises. It is suggested that all persons seek medical advice and obtain a medical clearance prior to engaging in physical exercise.
  4. I am aware that the use of the gym and its facilities involves strenuous activity that can be physically demanding and that exercise and the equipment used is potentially dangerous.
  5. I agree that I am in a good state of health and I am medically fit to use the gym facilities and there is no medical reason to prevent me from proceeding with the use of the gym facilities without endangering my health.
  6. I agree to conduct myself in an orderly and proper manner and not emerge in conduct, which could cause harm, create a hazard or nuisance to other members.
  7. I acknowledge that the club cannot warrant the safety and suitability of the Gym equipment.
  8. I hereby assume all risks associated with the use premises and facilities.
  9. I have undertaken an orientation tour and induction of the Gym.
  • All memberships, personal training and fundamental sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • All Personal training sessions must be paid in advance and in full.
  • Membership rates as follows, all prices include GST, all charged weekly.
  • All memberships include unlimited sessions.
  • These payments will be on direct debit only and managed by Ezidebit Australia P/L.
  • 6 MONTH CONTRACT, $49 PER WEEK.
  • 12 MONTH CONTRACT $43 PER WEEK
  • NO LOCK IN CONTRACT, $59 PER WEEK.
  • This agreement is made between yourself (named in this document) and BUILD.training and is not transferable to a third person.
  • The 3, 6 and 12 month commitment will auto renew for an additional 3 or 6 months indefinitely unless prior notice is given. Once the current period commences it is locked in for the duration of the period.

PAUSING A MEMBERSHIP

  • Memberships can be paused for up to 4 weeks, once every 6 months.
  • 14 days notice, required to pause membership.
  • Paused weeks will be added onto the overall length of the membership  

CANCELLATION POLICY 

  • 6 and 12 month memberships require 1 month notice, in writing to cancel. 
  • Cancellation of the 6 and 12 month memberships, will incur the equivalent of 75% fee of the remaining payments.
  • No lock in contract membership requires no notice. 
  • Cancellation of a waitlisted class within 2 hours will result in a $10 late cancellation fee 
  • No show on a waitlisted class will result in a $10 no show fee
New Member Liability Waiver
  1. I waive all claims or causes of action which I might otherwise have arising out of loss or life or injury, damage, or any other loss, which I may suffer in the course of or consequent upon my entry or participation in any activities in the gym.
  2. This waiver, release and discharge shall operate separately in favour of any person involved in the ownership and/or operation of the gym. The waiver shall operate whether or not the loss, injury or damage is attributable to the act or neglect of any one or more of such persons.

In consideration of Build.Training allowing me (or my child) to participate, I acknowledge, understand and I am aware that:


I (or my child) have voluntarily chosen to participate in training activities provided by Build.Training. I understand there are inherent risks in all aspects of physical training and of the possible strenuous nature of the training and the potential for undesirable physiological results including, but not limited to, abnormal blood pressure, muscle soreness, fainting, heart attack and/or death.

I understand that the training may involve weightlifting, gymnastic movements, strenuous bodyweight exercises and other high exertion activities, and that I am not obligated to perform nor participate in any activity that I do not wish to do, and that it is my right to refuse such participation at any time during my training sessions. I understand that should I (or my child) feel lightheaded, faint, dizzy, nauseated, or experience pain or discomfort, I (or my child) am to stop the activity and inform the trainer. I give Build.Training and the staff of the facilities I train in permission to seek emergency medical services for me should I become injured or ill with the understanding that I am responsible for any expenses incurred.

I agree to WAIVE ANY AND ALL CLAIMS that I have or may have in the future against Build.Training, and its directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers and independent contractors (all of whom are hereinafter collectively referred to as the Releasees). I agree to RELEASE THE RELEASEES from any and all liability for any loss, damage, injury or expense that I may suffer, or that my next of kin may suffer as a result of my participation in the programs, activities and services provided by Build.Training, due to any cause whatsoever including negligence, breach of contract, or breach of any statutory or other duty of care. I agree to HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY THE RELEASEES from any and all liability for any damage to the property of, or personal injury to, any third party, resulting from my participation in any program, activity or service provided by the releasees.

This agreement shall be binding upon me, my successors, representatives, heirs, executors, assigns, or transferees. If any portion of this agreement is held invalid, I agree that the remainder of the agreement shall remain in full legal force and effect. If I am signing on behalf of a minor child, I also give full permission for any person connected with Build.Training to administer first aid deemed necessary, and in case of serious illness or injury, I give permission to call for medical and or surgical care for the child and to transport the child to a medical facility deemed necessary for the wellbeing of the child.

Use of picture(s)/film/likeness: I agree to allow Build.Training, its agents, officers, principals, employees and volunteers to use picture(s), film and/or likeness of me (or my child) for advertising purposes. In the event I choose not to allow the use of the same for said purpose, I agree that I must inform Build.Training of this in writing.

I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THIS AGREEMENT AND I AM AWARE THAT BY SIGNING THIS ?INFORMED CONSENT FORM? I AM WAIVING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS (INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE) WHICH I OR MY HEIRS, NEXT OF KIN, EXECUTOR, ADMINISTERS AND ASSIGNS MAY HAVE AGAINST THE RELEASEES. ANY QUESTIONS I HAD WERE ANSWERED TO MY FULL SATISFACTION.

  1. Be on time
    Please turn up to the session on-time and participate in the group warm up.We totally understand being late once in a while due to unavoidable circumstances, but we believe that its unfair for the coaches and rest of the class when consistently late members squeeze themselves into the workout, and disrupt the flow of the class. We follow a program system and our programming model relies on the group warm-up, use this time to teach skills and develop body awareness. Also gives you time to set up your equipment before the start of the WOD. We also have a coaching briefing to deliver quickly at the beginning of each session. It is important that you hear the briefing and do the warm-up. If the warm up has started when you arrive, you're too late and will have to wait for the next class
  2. Don't coach unless you are a Build.Training trainer or staff
    There is a distinct difference between supporting your fellow members "c'mon, one more rep" and coaching. Coaching each other is well intentioned but not recommended. If you see something that looks wrong or dangerous grab a coach. Otherwise, focus on your own technique and put your energy into supporting and encouraging others.
  3. ALWAYS PUT THE EQUIPMENT BACK AT THE END OF CLASS!!
    Every piece of equipment has its own special little place in the gym. If you take it out of that place make sure you put it back when you're finished. A place for everything and everything in its place!
  4. Due to the spread of COVID 19 we insist you scan the SA Health QR code or fill out the visitor sheet on arrival, sanitise your hands and observe the current social distancing guidelines. We provide wipes and disinfectant to wipe down all the equipment you use whilst here and request that if you feel unwell or have symptoms of a cold, flu or C19 you stay at home till these symptoms pass or have been cleared through a negative COVID test.
